The shock Israeli strike against Hamas officials in Doha has raised questions over the reliability of the United States as a defense and security partner. Hasan Alhasan, Senior Fellow for Middle East Policy at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, says that perception will be further entrenched unless there are robust measures from the US to hold Israel to account.
